Network and AV cabling is invisible when done right and a constant source of failure when done wrong. Our structured cabling team builds infrastructure that performs on day one and scales with your organization for years.
Structured cabling is the physical foundation of every networked and audiovisual system in your building — from workstation data drops and PoE-powered IP cameras to 4K HDMI runs feeding video walls and fiber backbone links connecting IDF closets to your MDF. When this infrastructure is designed and installed to ANSI/TIA-568-C and BICSI standards, every system built on top of it performs reliably and is straightforward to troubleshoot and expand.
Our low-voltage cabling team installs Cat6A horizontal runs for high-density PoE and 10GbE workstation environments, OS2 single-mode and OM4 multimode fiber for backbone and long-distance AV signal transport, and the full range of AV-specific cabling — HDMI 2.1, HDBaseT, SDI, Dante/AES67 over Cat6A, and plenum-rated speaker wire — that modern commercial AV systems require.
Every run is tested and certified using Fluke DSX-8000 cable analyzers, and a complete test report is delivered at project close. All work complies with NEC Article 800, California Title 24, and applicable ANSI/TIA standards.
Standards & Compliance
Cabling & Infrastructure Services
From a single conference room retrofit to a full multi-floor tenant improvement, our team handles every phase of structured cabling and AV signal infrastructure.
Cat6A Horizontal Cabling
TIA-568-C compliant Cat6A runs from IDF to workstation, supporting 10GbE data and 90W PoE++ for IP cameras, access points, and PoE displays.
Fiber Optic Backbone
OS2 single-mode and OM4 multimode fiber for MDF-to-IDF backbone runs, long-distance AV signal transport, and inter-building campus links.
HDMI & HDBaseT AV Cabling
HDMI 2.1 and HDBaseT signal runs for video wall feeds, conference room displays, and digital signage — with proper conduit sizing for future cable pulls.
Dante / AES67 Audio Cabling
Dedicated Cat6A runs for Dante networked audio systems — properly separated from data VLANs and sized for low-latency audio transport across facilities.
Conduit, Raceway & Pathway
EMT conduit, surface-mount raceway, J-hook cable support, and wire mesh tray installation — all pathway work is designed for future capacity expansion.
Rack Build & IDF / MDF Buildout
Patch panel termination, rack installation, cable management, horizontal and vertical organizers, and full labeling per TIA-606-B naming conventions.
Fluke Certification & Testing
Every copper run is certified using Fluke DSX-8000 analyzers to TIA-568-C channel and permanent link standards. Full digital test reports delivered at project close.
Existing Infrastructure Audit
OTDR fiber testing, copper certification of existing runs, cable plant documentation, and remediation recommendations for buildings with aging or undocumented cabling.

Cable Types & Performance Specifications
Selecting the right cable type for each application determines bandwidth ceiling, PoE capacity, and installation longevity. This table covers the most common deployments we encounter in commercial projects.
| Cable Type | Standard / Category | Max Bandwidth | Max Run Length | Best Application | PoE Support |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cat6A UTP / F/UTP | TIA-568-C.2 | 10 GbE | 100 m | Workstations, PoE cameras, APs, PoE displays | 90W PoE++ |
| Cat8 S/FTP | TIA-568-C.2-1 | 40 GbE | 30 m | Top-of-rack data center switch interconnects | 90W PoE++ |
| OS2 Single-Mode Fiber | TIA-568-C.3 | 100 GbE+ | Up to 40 km | MDF backbone, campus inter-building, long AV runs | N/A |
| OM4 Multimode Fiber | TIA-568-C.3 | 100 GbE | 150 m (100GbE) | Intra-building backbone, data center core links | N/A |
| HDMI 2.1 (Active Optical) | HDMI Forum 2.1 | 48 Gbps / 8K | Up to 100 m (AOC) | Video wall feeds, 4K/8K display signal runs | N/A |
| HDBaseT (Cat6A) | HDBaseT Alliance | 4K / 18 Gbps | 100 m | Conference room AV distribution, digital signage | 100W PoH |
Cabling Projects Across San Jose & Silicon Valley
Silicon Valley’s density of corporate campuses, data centers, healthcare facilities, and active construction pipeline makes it one of the most active commercial cabling markets in the country.
Enterprise Office Tenant Improvement Cabling
Full-floor Cat6A horizontal cabling, IDF rack builds, and fiber backbone upgrades for Silicon Valley tech company campus expansions — coordinated with general contractors on active TI schedules.
Conference Room & AV Signal Infrastructure
HDBaseT and HDMI 2.1 signal runs for conference room video wall and display installations — conduit pathway design coordinated with AV system integration scope.
Structured Cabling & Cross-Connect Infrastructure
Cat8 top-of-rack copper and OS2 fiber inter-rack runs for colocation and hyperscale data center clients — high-density cable management and full Fluke certification on every link.
Healthcare Campus Network & AV Cabling
Cat6A PoE infrastructure for IP nurse call systems, access control, and patient-area display signage — installed per NFPA 99 healthcare facility wiring requirements.
Our Cabling Process — Survey to Certification
Every cabling project begins with a thorough pathway and load assessment. We design before we pull — ensuring conduit sizing, rack capacity, and cable counts are right before a single run is installed.
Site Survey & Pathway Assessment
We walk every floor to document existing conduit, cable trays, ceiling access, and IDF/MDF locations. We verify structural ceiling heights, fire-rated assembly types (for plenum vs. riser cable selection), and available rack space before finalizing the design.
Cable Plant Design & Documentation
We produce a full cable plant design — floor plan overlays showing outlet locations, conduit routing, pathway capacity, rack elevation drawings, and a complete cable schedule with port-to-port labeling per TIA-606-B. A fixed-price proposal is delivered before any work begins.
Conduit, Pathway & Cable Installation
Our crew installs all conduit, raceway, J-hook supports, and cable trays before pulling cable — maintaining proper bend radius, fill ratios, and separation between data and power per NEC Article 800 and TIA-568-C requirements.
Termination, Rack Build & Certification Testing
All copper runs are terminated and labeled at both ends. Rack builds include patch panel dressing, cable management installation, and equipment mounting. Every run is then certified using a Fluke DSX-8000 analyzer — full digital pass/fail test reports are delivered with project as-built documentation.
